When you meet someone for the first time,
Their sublime kindness draws you in.
As the days go by,
And their nature comes forth,
You realize what comes out of their mouth,
is a lie.
The stories they tell,
the emotions they sell,
seems genuine at first glance.
But as you dig deeper,
you realize all this while,
you’ve been in a trance.
Life is a maze,
your first gaze interprets it as something fun.
Once you enter it,
you come undone.
Trust,
Love,
Friends.
Are all potholes,
that leads you down a dark end.
Love,
promises a good feeling.
Yet leaves behind nothing that can be healed.
Friends,
promise to be families.
But we all know that ends in tragedy.
Smiling faces,
hiding cases,
of true evil and lies.
Beware of such people.
If you don’t make up your mind,
they will feed off of it,
and leave nothing behind…
